Undergraduate Studies in Economics

One of the largest academic programs on the Binghamton University campus, the Economics Department offers four undergraduate degrees: the BA in Economics, the BS with a Specialization in Economic Analysis, the BS with a Specialization in Financial Economics, and the BS with a Specialization in Economic Policy Analysis.

Hands-on workplace, teaching and research opportunities are available through teaching assistant positions, two Honors Programs, and independent study projects. Top students are eligible for various awards acknowledging superior academic achievement and service to the department.
